Budapest city programmes

  • Budapest city tour - Three-hour long sightseeing tour introducing the most attractive features of the capital, such as Heroes' Square, Andrassy avenue, St. Stephen's Cathedral and the Buda Castle district. – Price: 24 EUR / person, departing daily at 10.00 a.m./ 11.00 am / 2.30 p.m.
  • Budapest Art Tour - A half-day visit to the Hungarian National Gallery and the Museum of Fine Arts (Gallery of Old Masters such as the Spanish, Renaissance and Venetian Collections) and a short walk on the "street of antiques". – Price: 35 EUR / person, departing on Tuesday at 10.00 a.m., min. 7 participants.
  • Jewish Budapest - A three-hour long walking tour in Europe's largest Synagogue and its surroundings including an inside visit of the Synagogue complex (Jewish Museum, ghetto and World War II area history). The Synagogue and the nearby Jewish Quarter have a very rich history. – Price: 24 EUR / person, departing on Sunday and Wednesday at 10.00 a.m.
  • Budapest Spa Programme - Budapest is world-famous by its spas. There are more than a hundred medical hot water springs in the capital that has been used from the early roman ages. Gellert Spa is one of the most famous of all. – Half-day guided tour with spa ticket and a 20-minute massage: 28 EUR / person. Tour departs on Monday at 10.00 a.m.
  • Dinner Cruise on the Danube– A unique Budapest experience with candlelight dinner. Live salon music performed by 3 members of the Zoltán Kodály awarded Rajkó Folk Orchestra, including the world-famous violinist Zsigmond Vidak.   • Introductory to Hungarian Cuisine – Half day programme led by a professional chef-instructor, starting at the Grand Market Hall where guests are introduced the main ingredients of traditional Hungarian dishes. The programme continues at Chefparade kitchen where the participants make three different meals and have lunch together.   • Tickets - Tickets are available to performances in the Opera House, the Operetta Theatre, the Palace of Arts, the Hungarian Music Academy and the Hungarian National Folk Dance Ensemble.

One-day tours outside Budapest

  • Excursion to Herend and Lake Balaton - the world famous Herend Porcelain Manufacture visitors can admire delicate masterpieces of the factory established over 150 years ago.   • Excursion to Gödöllő with horse show and dinner at Lázár Equestrian Park - The 18th century castle in Gödöllő is an outstanding example of Central European baroque architecture. Not far from the castle, in the heart of the hills is the equestrian park established by the world champion of carriage riding Lázár brothers. The Park is situated 35 km from Budapest in a picturesque valley. Take a walk in the Hungarian village yard and get familiar with ancient Hungarian domestic livestock breeds, taste Hungarian cuisine and wine.
