Exhibition

During the congress, a large exhibition featuring commercial displays by pharmaceutical companies and industries serving the gynaecological-oncological community will be organised.

Registration Desk

The Registration Area is located at the ballroom of InterContinental Budapest. HBL Congress & Events team and the congress hostesses will be pleased to help you with all inquiries regarding registration, congress material and the congress programme. Outstanding Payment

If you still have an outstanding payment you may settle your account in cash (HUF, EUR, USD) or by major credit cards. Unfortunately we cannot accept traveller's cheques or other currencies.

On-site Registration

Participants registering and paying their registration fees on-site will need to fill out an on-site registration form. Payments will be accepted in cash (HUF, EUR, USD) or by major credit cards.

Hotel Accommodation, Excursions & Official Social Programme

Help desk will be available for participants who have booked their accommodation or optional excursions in advance via HBL Travel. The staff will also help you to find and book rooms or make reservations for excursions, restaurants or car-rental if necessary.

At this desk you may also secure one of the few remaining tickets for the Welcome Reception and the EAGC Reception.

Message Board

Delegates can leave or receive personal messages at this desk.

Name Badges

Participants will receive their name badges when collecting their Congress documentation. You are kindly requested to wear your name badge during all Congress events, including the Opening Ceremony, the Welcome Reception and the EAGC Reception. Please note that admission to scientific sessions is strictly restricted to participants wearing their badges. Accompanying persons are not entitled to attend the scientific sessions.

Congress Language

The official language of the Congress is English. There will be no simultaneous translation provided.

Visa Assistance

Most participants, particularly from Europe, North America, Canada and Australia require no visa for entry to Hungary. Please check passport and visa requirements before departure. For some nationalities, visas can be issued at Budapest Airport upon arrival; other nationalities need to contact the Hungarian Embassy in their country. Please note that visa application procedure can take up to 6 months in various countries, therefore an early application is recommended.

Invitation letters

Official letters of invitation to help overcome administrative difficulties including obtaining visa or permission to attend the congress can be sent upon written request to the Organising Company. This should not, however, be construed as a financial commitment on the part of the Organisers.

Certificates of Attendance

Certificates of Attendance will be provided to all attendees.

First Aid

Please contact the staff at the Registration Desk in case first aid is needed.

Car Park

Downtown Budapest is a short-term parking zone on weekdays from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m. Tickets have to be purchased at the parking machines and be placed visible behind the windscreen. InterContinental Budapest has a guarded parking lot, parking fee is not included in the Registration Fee.

Weather and Clothing

May is late springtime in Hungary, and the weather is usually pleasant and sunny. The average temperature ranges from 18 to 22 °C. Fairly light clothing is advisable; however, the evenings may be cool, so a jacket or raincoat may be useful. Cloakroom facilities will be available at the Congress Venue every day.

All enquires should be directed to the Information Desk. Participants are advised to mark their Congress Documents with their name.
